Type of Day for Menu Week Templates

When creating a week template for a Menu register, each day must have a type of day selected. By default, all days are set to Options.

Monday is automatically selected as the first day of the week for the template. For the selected day, choose the type of day you want to create from the following options: 

Type of Menu	Description	When to Use
Options	Add the meal options available for order.	For different groups of menu items, such as, main meals, desserts, vegetarian, available on the same day
Blank day	Hide the day when parents, carers, or staff members are ordering meals.	There are no options available for order for the day.
Self choice	No meal options are displayed when parents, carers, or staff members are paying for meals, but the register member can choose the meal they want when collecting it.	If only one meal option is available for the day or meal selections do not need to be recorded.
Use day template	Automatically adds the menu options from a Day template.	The menu options for the day have already been set up in a Day template.
