The following updates were made to IRIS ParentMail during January 2025:

New Features

Fixes and Updates

  • Resolved issues with the details for parents and carers who already have an IRIS Identity account, displaying Pending status for previously approved changes or displaying a previous email address after they have connected to another organisation.
  • Improved loading and performance for paper copies in Documents To Print.

Parents' Evening Manager

  • Updates to the wording to be Parents' Evening Manager in the Video Appointments page.
  • The Video Calls menu item has been changed to Video Appointments.
  • On the Video Appointments page, references to Video Calls have been changed to Video Appointments.
  • All Year Groups now display in the Parents Evening: Tutor Export report.

IRIS PlusPay

  • Improved loading and performance updates for Payment Items page.
  • The details of the user who processed a manual payment is now displayed in the Processed by column on the Manual Payments for a selected date range report.
  • When using a previous item to create a new item:
    • Description now displays correctly.
    • Parents and carers now correctly receive notifications for items when Alert Users of Changes setting is selected.
    • When the Account Codes setting is selected, the Cost Centre, Department, Nominal Code, and SKU options display correctly.
  • A filter has been added for Status on View Orders for Payment Items.
  • The amount left to pay for partially refunded items now displays correctly in IRIS ParentMail accounts for parents and carers.
  • Resolved issues that allowed a different option to be selected for further payment made against items paid for in installments, or allowed them to be purchased more than once at checkout.
