Update — May 2024

The following updates were made to IRIS ParentMail during May 2024:

New Features

Fixes and Updates

  • Draft text messages containing emojis or special characters now save correctly
  • organisation logos now display correctly for parents and carers against students in the Absences section of the IRIS ParentMail app
  • When viewing recipients of messages sent to contacts per student, Contacts Received via SMS now correctly displays the number of messages sent
  • The Student ID from your Management Information System (MIS) is now displayed in the Additional Information on Student Userrecords

IRIS PlusPay 

  • Low account balance email reminders for registers now include updated wording and the name of the register the account balance relates to
  • Forced paper copies for register and cashless payment barcodes now display in Documents To Print
  • If your organisation has already confirmed a club or meal booking for a student and the parent or carer books again through their IRIS ParentMail account, they are only charged for the booking they made
  • Resolved issues with updating some register schedule dates in the future, such as 30th and 31st December 2024
  • Register Purchase window closes options now go up to 60 days
  • The Register All User Transactions report now displays all refunds to student accounts
  • Parents and carers using the IRIS ParentMail app no longer receive errors when cancelling payments during checkout
  • Items with a Purchase Window date set in the future are not displayed in View Orders for manual payments, such as a subsidy, to be applied or taken until the date the purchase window opens
