How to Activate Absence Reporting

You must activate absence reporting to allow parents and carers to report student absences through the IRIS ParentMail app.

Only users with Manage Settings permissions can activate or deactivate absence reporting.

Do the following:

  1. Go to Settings > General.
  2. Select Enable Online Absence Reporting.
  3. Select Enable to activate or Disable to deactivate absence reporting.

    A success message is displayed.

  4. Select OK to return to the Settings page.

Select Absences in IRIS ParentMail to view reported absences.
