Security for Rules

This guidance is only for IRIS Financials Version 7.0.2223 or later. If using version 7.0.2103 or earlier, go to Overview of Security Roles.

To manage what users can access and how they can use Rules, the relevant security must be set for the user group they are assigned to.

Permissions can be assigned by setting the security from the User Group Maintenance screen.

Security Options for Rules

For each listed option, all users in the group can be given permission to:

• Run — Access and run the rule from the Rules menu.
