Remove Consent from the Bank for Open Banking Accounts
Consent must be removed from bank accounts where consent has been given by the bank for IRIS Financials to access the details when:
- You are no longer using the account for Open Banking.
- The bank account is closed.
- To stop the account displaying in the list of accounts transactions can be imported from.
Consent typically expires after 90 days, or a set number of days determined by the bank, and must be renewed for IRIS Financials to continue accessing the account.
For accounts with Status of Active or Expired:

Go to Banks, then select Consent Management.
- Select the relevant Institution, then REVOKE.
- Confirm you want to revoke the consent.
The bank account is removed from the list of bank accounts in Consent Management and Open Banking.
