Fixes and Updates - September 2025
The following updates were made to Every HR during September 2025.
General updates

Security and performance updates.

User interface (UI) and user experience (UX) improvements.
Employees
-
A warning now appears if you change a first name or last name when you import old job data.

The text N/A now shows for Salary Incl. Additions and Hourly Rate Incl. Additions when an employee has a mix of automatic and manual additions, or none at all.

Disabled fields have a warning message next to them when the Amount Type is set to One Off.

The value for Salary Incl. Additions and Hourly Rate Incl. Additions always shows, including in Salary History.

The All Employees table now correctly shows an employee's start date even if they have an end date.

A pound sign (£) has been added to the Salary Incl. Additions and Hourly Rate Incl. Additions values in Salary History.

The Payment Frequency column has been added to the Salary Information page for employees.

An error no longer occurs when you archive an Addition or Deduction that was superseded by a pay award.

The Pay Monthly and Pay Annually Payment Frequency fields in the Additions and Deductions settings now update and hide correctly when you make other selections.

The Edit button for Additions and Deductions now opens the edit window correctly.

Job History no longer creates duplicate records when you save an employee's job information.

The Add Addition pop-up window now loads correctly in the Additions and Deductions section.

Reports that use a custom field with a condition no longer show an error.

Reports that use custom fields now keep the correct formatting and include all sections.
Absence Management

You can now set the percentage of pay to four decimal places on the Add Parental Leave Pay Policy page.

Employees with My Leave permission can now edit pay policy tasks from their portal.
Single Central Record

The Single Central Record table now shows the correct continuous service start date for employees with end dates.

The Single Central Record Summary screen now shows a shared employee's completion status based on the specific property's settings.
Workforce Census

The text in the curriculum data pop-up now matches the Department for Education (DfE) guidance.

The Pay Range Minimum and Pay Range Maximum fields for Leadership Pay now fill in by themselves when salaries are linked to pay scales.

The dates for the Workforce Census module now reflect the 2025 submission window.
Payroll
-
The payroll onboarding process now checks for duplicate managed numbers, even when you overwrite them with employee record fields.

When using the Staffology integration, the system now uses the existing Payroll Number and Contract Number by default if they are not empty.
-
The Staffology integration no longer fails when processing Additions and new roles with future start dates.
-
When an employee leaves, the final holiday balance pay code is now created with a multiplier of one.

The Staffology integration now exports the end date for the first chain item of an ongoing Addition.

You will now see an error message if you try to replace a job identifier with a Contract Number that already exists.

Managed payroll numbers are now checked to prevent duplicates across multiple payrolls within a single multi-academy trust (MAT).
-
The Staffology integration now processes future dates for Time & Expenses. This prevents an error.

New employees with a start and end date now complete the onboarding process and are added to the pay run.

An error no longer appears in the integration hub for new employees with additions, such as Contractual Overtime.
Recruitment

There is now an integration error handling page where you can fix data issues.

All configurable vacancy fields from the GOV.UK Teaching Vacancies site are now available in Every HR.

We have removed the old Department for Education (DfE) integration. The system now uses the new DfE integration.

Recruitment panel members with Edit Vacancy permission can no longer see sensitive answers to pre-screening questions.

You can now edit vacancies in Trust Overview without an error.

The email preview for adding a candidate to a talent pool no longer contains placeholder text.
Time & Expenses
-
You can now combine custom rate presets with the Hourly Rate incl. Additions type.
-
The pay code selection for custom rate presets now works for all schools.
Admin
-
A new user-level permission is now available that controls who can send adverts to the Teaching Vacancies board.
-
The Enter key now correctly triggers a search within the Linked Roles filters.
-
Contract content now uses the correct logos and information from the assigned school settings.
