Requesting Leave
Please note that you must have the My Portal and View My Leave permissions enabled to view the following screens.
The My Leave section of Every HR allows you to view and request any general absences and annual leave within the system.
You can access the My Leave section by:
- Click on My Portal on the main menu on the left hand side
- Click My Leave
Within the My Leave section you will be presented with a grid which shows any holiday days requested/approved, any time off in lieu you have added into the system or spent (Please note, this will only show if your school uses time off in lieu.
There is also a calendar view which will show any annual leave or general absences entered into the system.
Requesting a General Absence or Annual Leave:
To request a General Absence or Annual Leave in Every HR:
- Click either Request General Absence or Request Holiday at the top of the My Leave page.
This will now open up the appropriate request page
When requesting a General Absence you will be asked to enter a reason for the absence, the first date of absence and the last date of your absence. An absence reason won't be required if you are requesting holidays.
- Once you have entered all these fields click the tick box within the roles section and this will give you a suggested amount of days for the absence. Please double check the suggested amount and enter as appropriate.
Once all the above has been entered click the green Save button. You will then receive an email notification confirming the absence has been entered and is going through the approval process. A further email will be sent once your absence approver has actioned the absence.
