View Performance Records For Reviewees

Lets a user view performance records for those they are set up as the ‘designated reviewer’ for. This permission is relevant when reviewers are assigned manually, rather the person’s line manager. Users can view performance records for anyone they are the ‘designated reviewer’ for. Users will not be able to see any performance records unless access is granted through a different permission.

Edit Performance Records For Reviewees

Lets a user view performance records for those they line manage. This is determined in the employee records of their direct reports, where their name should be assigned in the ‘Reports To’ field.

Users can view performance records for their direct reports. Access is limited to performance records of employees who have this user listed in their ‘Reports To’ field in their employee record.

Users will not be able to see any performance records unless access is granted through a different permission.

View All Performance Records

Lets a user view performance records for anyone in the workforce. It is typically granted to HR personnel, executives, or managers with a broader oversight role.

Users can view performance records for the entire workforce.

Users will not be able to see any performance records unless access is granted through a different permission.

Edit All Performance Records

Lets a user edit performance records for anyone in the workforce. It is typically granted to HR personnel, executives, or managers with a broader oversight role.

Users can edit performance records for the entire workforce.

Users will not be able to view or edit any performance records unless access is granted through a different permission.

Edit Observations For Observees

Sets a user’s ability to view and edit observations using the Observations page of the Performance module. This permission is typically granted to individuals who are assigned the role of an observer and need to actively engage with and modify observation records.

Users can view and edit observations using the Observations page of the Performance module.

Users without this permission won't be able to edit observations in the Performance module, even if they are assigned as observers. They may receive notifications and access observations through the My Tasks page in My Portal, but they won't have dedicated access to the Observations page.

View Property Objectives

Gives users the ability to view property objectives, which set out the property’s overall goals and targets for performance. This is typically granted to those who need to be aware of organisational goals and targets.

Users can view property objectives.

Users won't have access to view property objectives.

Edit Property Objectives

Gives users the ability to edit property objectives, which set out the property’s overall goals and targets for performance. This is typically granted to those who need to set organisational goals and targets.

Users can edit property objectives.

Users will not have access to edit property objectives, but could still view them if they have permission to ‘View Property Objectives’.

View Property Standards

Gives users permission to view property standards, outlining performance guidelines, benchmarks, or expectations.

Users can view property standards.

Users will not have access to view property standards.

Edit Property Standards

Gives users permission to edit property standards, letting them create and modify performance guidelines, benchmarks, or expectations.

Users can edit property standards.

Users cannot edit property standards, though could still view them if they have permission to ‘View Property Standards’.

Edit Review Templates

This permission is typically granted to individuals responsible for designing and managing the review process. It gives users the ability to add and modify review templates, make changes to custom forms and determine whether pay review conversations are allowed.

Users can add and modify review templates. They can also make changes to custom forms and decide whether discussions about pay reviews are allowed.

Users will not have the ability to edit or create review templates.

Edit Observation Templates

This permission is typically granted to individuals responsible for designing and managing the observation process. It gives users the ability to add and modify observation templates, and make changes to observation forms.

Users can add or modify observation templates. This includes the ability to make changes to the structure, content, or format of observation forms.

Users cannot edit or create observation templates.

Edit Settings

This permission is typically granted to administrators or individuals responsible for overseeing the configuration and customisation of Every HR. It gives users access to the Settings page for the Performance module.

Users can access and modify the Settings page for the Performance module.

Users cannot access or modify Performance module settings.

Edit User Group Access

This permission grants the ability to view and edit performance records for individuals within a specified user group, even if they do not directly manage or serve as reviewers for those individuals.

Users can edit performance records for everyone within a specified user group.

Users cannot view or edit performance records unless this is granted through a different permission.

View User Group Access

This permission grants the ability to view performance records for individuals within a specified user group, even if they do not directly manage or serve as reviewers for those individuals.
