Editing or Deleting an employee's absence request
Please note that you must have the absence permission enabled along with the edit absences for direct reports permission to view the following screens.
If an employee requests leave that needs to be edited or archived, this can be done within the absence instances section of Every HR.
To access absence instances:
- Click Absence Management on the main menu on the left hand side
- Click Absence Instances.
The page will now list any employees who have requested leave and has you listed as their reports to within their job information.
Editing an employees absence request:
To edit an employee's absence:
- Click the pencil icon in the end column.
This will now take you through to the edit absence screen.
Within the employee's absence request you can edit the first day and last day of the absence. Once edited click the green Save button to confirm the changes. This will then update the employees request accordingly.
Deleting an employees absence request:
- To delete an employee's absence request click the red cross to archive the absence.
You will be asked to confirm you want to archive the absence. To confirm click the red archive button.
