How to add a new incident severity
Please follow the steps below on how to add a new incident severity to your system
Please note that you must have an access level of Admin.
Please select:
- Settings on the main menu on the left hand side
- Then select the tab Incident Severities
The table will highlight the title of the severity that can be selected, the severity level, how many incidents have this severity assigned to them and how many users/user groups are to be notified of incidents with this selected severity (this can be adjusted within the Overall Settings under the notifications sections.)
To add a new severity:
- Select the green button at the bottom right of the table Add incident severity.
The screen will now expand downwards where you will be asked to enter the title and the level of the severity, the level refers to the severity level in the table above and will then assign this new severity depending on the set level.
