Standards Management

Use the Certification tab in the Curriculum Manager module to define the standards used to grade a class of students and create items to be graded.

For example, standard items for preschool could be 'Holding a pencil' and 'Using the bathroom'. Group items into sets, each item can be listed under more than one set. Standards can be linked to courses and pulled into the Gradebook module. Standards Management can be rolled over year after year.

Three options are listed under this category:

• Manage Standard Items. For example, standard items for preschool could be 'Holding a pencil' and 'Using the bathroom'. Each item can be listed under more than one set.
• Manage Standard Sets. Group standard items into sets.
• Standard Options & Settings. Define the properties of standard items and set and how these are used.

Choose to update any of the entity preferences in the above options. See Update Standards Management entity preferences for more help with this.
