Set up Paypal Pro

  1. Select your user account initials, then Account Settings.

  2. From Configuration Settings, select Receiving Payments.

  3. From Paypal Pro select Settings.

    4. Select Sign Up to Paypal Pro to create an account if you do not already have one.

  4. Enter the Client Id and Secret for your Paypal Pro account.

    • Go to https://developer.paypal.com and select Get API Credentials.

    • Enter your Paypal login details.

    • Go to Apps & Credentials. Select Sandbox or Live. (please note Sandbox is used for test purposes only).

    • Select Create App. Enter a name for this connection. Select the Merchant type.

    • From the list, select the Paypal account to link then select Create App.

    • You will see your new app connection listed with Client ID and a Secret.

  5. Select the Bank Account, Currency and Payment Method you want to assign to Paypal Pro transactions in IRIS Kashflow.

    6. You can add additional payment methods.

  6. Select Default Payment Provider to make Paypal Pro you default payment processor.

  7. To use this payment processor for the invoice Pay Online button, select Redirect me to PayOnline settings.... Complete the required information, then Add PayOnline button to invoices.

  8. Select Update.

That's it, you are set up and ready to take Paypal Pro when viewing an unpaid sales invoice. Additionally, the Paypal Pro powered Pay Online button will be added to your PDF sales invoices where customer can access the secure payment portal to pay you directly.

Collect payments using Paypal Pro

From sales invoice

  1. From Sales > Sales Invoice select any unpaid invoice to open it.

  2. From Payments select More actions > Card payment.

  3. The Paypal Pro card payment form displays. Select Paypal, the customer can log into Paypay to complete the transaction. Alternatively select Debit or Credit Card. The complete the card and billing address details. Select Buy Now to complete the transaction.

  4. Once the payment has been verified the invoice timeline will update accordingly.

From Pay Online button

  1. Send the sales invoice PDF to the customer with the usual method.

  2. When the customer views the PDF they will be able to select Pay Online.

  3. The Paypal Pro payment form will display.

  4. The customer completes the reCAPTCHA select Next to proceed.

  5. They can then select to login and pay with Paypal or enter a debit or credit card for the transaction

  6. Once the payment has been verified the invoice timeline will update accordingly.
