Financial overview widget (new design)

The Financial overview widget lets you quickly see the balance of your bank accounts together with the totals of how much money you are owed and owe, plus the total of these assets. This is followed by the totals of overdue sales invoices and overdue purchase invoices.
Select each row to see more detail.

Bank account - takes you to the transactions page for the selected bank account. The tick icon launches a bank reconciliation and the other icon downloads the transactions to a CSV file.

Money owed to you - takes you to a list of unpaid sales invoices.

Money you owe - takes you to a list of unpaid purchase invoices.

Overdue sales invoices - takes you to a list of overdue sales invoices.

Overdue purchase invoices - takes you to a list of overdue purchase invoices.
Find out now these figures are calculated.
You can also choose to show a graph widget via display settings.
You can also select to include your VAT liability on the Financial overview via display settings.
This displays your VAT liability on your overview page for the current period so you’re not taken by surprise at the end of the VAT period.
Click on the amount shown to view the full report. The Download Calculations button at the bottom of the VAT report page will show you how it was calculated.
To see the VAT liability for another period, go to Reports > Tax.
More VAT options can be found in Settings> VAT Settings.
This widget shows the historical balance of any bank account over the past 6 months (your default account is shown). You can hover over the line to view the balance at that date.
The balance shown is based on the current date. For example, if the current date is 22nd July and you hover over May, the figures will be based on 22nd May.
You can change the bank account by selecting a new account from the list.
