Import transactions
Instead of manual data entry, import your transactional data directly into IRIS Elements Cashbook.
You have two options:
-
Open Banking: Import directly from your account provider with the account holder's explicit consent.
Regardless of the feed type, importing and matching process is largely the same. Easily match transactions to purchase sales invoices to maintain a real-time, accurate flow of financial data in IRIS Elements Cashbook.
You can switch between feed methods at any time.
Open Banking import
-
Go to Banking > Bank. For the appropriate account, select Import.
-
Set a date range to import using Start date and End date then select Retrieve Transactions.
-
Transactions that fall within the dates range are retrieved from the linked bank account and loaded into IRIS Elements Cashbook.
-
Matching rules are applied. Transactions are matched based on system rules first then custom rules in the order they are listed.
- Work through the list to Match or Ignore all transactions.
-
Once all the transactional data has been matched, select Import now.
You should carefully review the transactions before you select Import now.
When you reconcile, your target bank balance is automatically populated from your bank data.
CSV file
