To access this screen, go to Launch | Client Lookup in the Staff Control Panel. Select the client wanted and then go to the Tasks Tab.
For further information please see the Post/View Tasks screen.
With the Tasks tab it shows all tasks that are linked against that client already.
The main options are:
Who the task is assigned to
The Subject of the Task (*)
When the task was created
Due date for the task
Current Status of the task
Who the task was assigned by.
The subject of the task will be displayed as Private if the original task was marked the same and the current log in is not the recipient or owner of the task.
To see the details of the task either click View or double-left click on the relevant line. Alternatively create a New task associated with that client.
The Delete button allows the deletion of the highlighted task however to Delete a Task the following apply:
The task owner (i.e. View the task and make sure that the current login is the same as the one displayed in the Owner field).
Full access for the Pm Module, in the Staff Group Permissions, is needed.
The Task has to have the status `Not Started` in order to be able to delete.
The Print List option allows a print of the details seen in the main box. Alternatively this report can be sent just to screen for easier viewing.
Finally there is a drop down list for displaying the Tasks. The default is for Outstanding tasks only, but this can be changed to Completed or All (which will show both completed and outstanding entries). Also the settings here will effect the Print List option.
The columns can be configured to show in the required order. Also the information can be exported to a CSV file.
The other extra tabs on the client maintenance screen are Attributes, Service, Jobs, Tasks and Notes.
