This tutorial will go through several scenarios on how
to use the Job Stages screen from the Staff Control Panel. In each case
you will need to be logged into Practice Management.
The scenarios are:
Look at your stages due in the next 28 days and print/export a list
Look at stages overdue for more than 5 days assigned to you and Mark as Complete
Review stages for jobs managed by you, and post Tasks to colleagues with respect to the work needed
Send a Letter to one of the clients based on the stage being overdue (requires AutoMail licence)
Right-click on the Pm icon and select Staff Control Panel.
This will default to show, the current login, stages due in 28 days (and those overdue) and automatically run the search.
Then print/export a list using the appropriate options.
Right-click on the Pm icon and select Staff Control Panel.
Ensure the setting Show stages assigned to is present and your login is shown.
Under Include change to Stages overdue by 5 days.
Click Find to refresh the screen.
Find the stage in question and highlight.
Either use the Mark as Completed option, right-click for the same option, or double-click the line to enter specific information.
Right-click on the Pm icon and select Staff Control Panel.
Change, at the top left, the setting to Show stages assigned to staff members managed by and ensure your id is present.
Click Find to refresh the search.
Right-click on the Pm icon and select Staff Control Panel.
Change, at the top left, the setting to Show stages for jobs managed by and ensure your id is present.
Click Find to refresh the search.
Highlight one of the stages and click Post (alternatively right-click on the line and select Post Task).
Enter details relating to the Task and click OK.
This will close back to the Job Stages screen and the Task column will be updated to reflect a Task has been posted.
Right-click on the Pm icon and select Staff Control Panel.
Change the drop-down at the top left to Show all Stages.
Also select Stages assigned with no Due date under the include option.
Click Find to refresh the search.
Right-click on the Pm icon and select Staff Control Panel.
Change the Stages due in the next to 0 days.
Click Find to refresh the search.
Find the stage in question and highlight.
Right-click on the highlighted line and select Generate Letter.
