To access this screen, select Edit | Buildings Allowances
The screen is split into two parts.
This lists all the client's buildings.
The buildings are sorted by:
Improvements are shown linked to the parent building.
Buildings that do not qualify for allowances or for which allowance information has not yet been entered are shown in the Other Buildings folder.
The buildings shown in the list are dependant on the current selection in the left hand tree view. If a folder has been selected all buildings in that folder will be shown here. If a particular building has been selected, only that building appears here.
The buildings can be sorted by any of the column headings.
The order of the columns can be changed by:
clicking on the column header
dragging it to its new position,
release the mouse button
To claim BPRA:
Highlight the Parent building.
Select Add Improv.
Check the box Claim 100% BPRA.
Use the magnifiers to select dates or enter the dates into the fields.
New - use this option to enter new buildings.
Add Improv
To quickly link a new improvement to a Parent Building:
Highlight the parent in the list view.
Click Add Improv.
The following fields will be pre-filled in the Building Maintenance screen:
Edit - use this option to edit the standing data for a building.
Delete - this option deletes the building from Fixed Asset Register and Business Tax.
Allowances - use this option to open the Allowances screen where the allowances calculated by Business Tax can be amended.
CTAP - this item is only displayed on limited companies where the current period s longer than 12 months. It allows you to change between the two CTAP's.
Configure - use this option to open the configure screen where the columns in the display can be altered.
