Set timesheet approvers

In order to be able to approve timesheet entries, you must firstly set up the required approvers. This is achieved by setting permissions and/or assigning approvers to specific staff members.
This topic describes how to set up an approver, together with who they will approve timesheets for. If you want to select an approver for an individual staff member, please see Set staff timesheet approver.
The following table lists the permission required in order to approve timesheets for groups of staff, such as everyone in the user's department. You will need to apply the applicable permissions listed.

Select the staff to be approved
Typically, this option is used when adding a new manager to the system to identify the staff that the manager will approve timesheets for.
- Search for the required staff member.
- Select Staff > Details from the menu.
- From the Staff page, select the Timesheets tab.
- Select the Approves sub tab. Any existing staff this manager approves are displayed.
- Click Add. From the Add Staff window, search for the required staff member, then click Select on the appropriate row.
- The selected person is then listed on the Approves tab. Repeat the process for all the required staff, then click Apply.
- You can remove/delete any unwanted approvers by clicking the applicable Delete icon.
