Generate statements

The statement run is a two part process – the generation of the month’s statements and the review and approval of the statements for printing.

Generating Statements

  1. Before any statements can be reviewed and printed they need to be generated. The generation routine allows the following criteria to be used in the process:

    CRITERIA DESCRIPTION
    Statement Date The cut off date for transactions to be included on the Statement. This will also be the date that is displayed on the Statement itself.
    Minimum Balance The minimum debtors’ balance that is to be used when generating the statements.
    Include Transactions This field sets whether to include transactions over the client’s credit terms. The available options are to include:
    • All O/S Transactions
    • Only O/S transactions that are over the client’s credit terms
    • All O/S transactions if at least one transaction exceeds the client’s credit terms
  2. Once all the criteria has been set, the statements are generated by clicking Generate Statements. This will create the list of statements that are ready for review.
