Gender pay gap calculation

  1. To run the gender pay gap calculation, go to Year End > Gender Pay Gap > Generate Employee List.

  2. In the Generate for snapshot in year box, enter the year you want to run the calculation for.

  3. Select Private sector or Public sector.

  4. Choose the output path then click OK.

  5. Select your print criteria, whether you want to include leavers, and the order of the report. The report is generated.

This report uses averages.

In the example above:

(Hours worked in month) * (last 3 months) / (13 weeks in 3 months) = (Weekly hours)

36 * 4.3333 = 156 (hours worked in month)

156 * 3 /13 = 36 Working Hours

(Last month’s pay) / (number of weeks in the month) = (weekly pay)

3138.72 / 4.3487142857 = 721.76 (Regulations require us to use 30.44 / 7 = 4.34857142857)

(Weekly pay) / (weekly hours) = (hourly rate)
