Password encryption

To assist with the requirements of GDPR, PDF reports and Excel reports can be encrypted with a password.

Strong passwords contain a mixture of uppercase, lowercase, numerical, and non-alphabetical characters are used for the encryption.

Default Passwords

To set a default password for all reports, go to System Set Up > Reports & BACS > Report Output Options.

This default password will feed through to the report writer wizard and appear at the end when you are ready to print.

Ad hoc Passwords

Go to Payrun > Reports > Management Reports.

If a default password is not needed but the use of a password is still required, within the report wizard the user is able to set a stand alone password for the use of the reports that they are creating.
