Add a sickness period

You can't add a sick period that surpasses the SSP cut-off date defined when the pay run was opened.

  1. Click the payrun icon.

  2. On the Payrun menu, click Full Data Entry

  3. Choose the employee that you want to record sickness for.

  4. In the SSP tab, click Choose Codes. then click S. On the calendar, click and drag to select the dates of the sick period. The selected period is shown in blue.

  5. Repeat the process for any other sick periods you want to record for this employee.

  6. Click Recalculate. SSP is calculated and the SSP days are shown on the calendar.

    • Green shows waiting days

    • Yellow shows paid SSP days

  1. Click Save.
