Employer verification connector - company opt out

Employers have full control

You can opt your payroll companies in or out of the Employee verification connector process.

Safe and secure
Data is shared under the terms of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), Experian and Equifax is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

If you choose to opt out an employer, the data is deleted from the platform and the online verification cannot be used.

If an employer chooses to opt a company from Experian and Equifax, during an application process the employee is required to provide their data to the financial service provider using other methods.

Security Module

  1. Go to Security > System > EVC > EVC settings.

  2. The EVC settings controls system wide settings:

    • Opt in new payrolls? - Enables, new payrolls created will be opted in. Select to change.

    • Enabled? - If the option is deselected, EVC functionality is disabled system wide.

  3. Select OK.

Company opt out / opt in

  1. Go to Security > System > EVC > EVC Payrolls opt in/opt out.

  2. To opt out / opt in a single company: 

    • Go to the required company.

    • Remove the tick to opt out.

    • Add the tick to opt in.

  3. Other options:

    • Select all payrolls: Opt in all companies.

    • Select live payrolls: Option will omit all previous tax year copy payrolls

    • Unselect all payrolls: Opt out all companies.
