IRIS Payroll Professional - Year End 2023 - Update information
You need to complete vital component updates on your system before applying the update.
The IRIS Payroll Professional End of Year update requires some prerequisite software components to be installed by you before installing the End of Year update.
The following pre-requisite components need to be installed on your IPP installation:

Microsoft .Net Framework 4.8 is be required for the End of Year release, this can impact any custom settings (including any settings for Virtual Payroll Assistant clients) in the config file.

It is recommended to create a backup of the IPP config file (Star.Payroll.GUI.exe.config) so these settings can later be replicated before upgrading to .Net Framework 4.8

Once the End of Year release is applied and you run the program, the upgrade of the T2Data and P2Admin is completed. To ensure you do not run into any problems, please do the following:

It is recommended all IRIS Payroll Professional clients create a back-up of the T2Data and P2Admin files as any existing corruptions will show up and need to be resolved before they are updated.
