Rehiring an employee

Open the required company.

Go to Employees.

Select the Leavers tab.

Select the required leaver.

Goto More... > Rehire Employee.

Select Rehire Employee to create a new employee record with matching details and a new payroll code.

You’ll need to add the employee to a pension scheme and add any benefits, etc.

If the employee is re-joining in the same tax year they left, we’ll take previous YTD The cumulative amount of an employee's earnings or deductions from the beginning of the current fiscal year up to the current pay period. figures and use them on the Opening Balances page as their Previous Employer figures.
