System codes

System codes are used for various features within the payroll.

To view the control codes:

1. Open the required company.

2. Select the company name and select Settings.

   

3. Go to Pay Codes.

4. Select System Codes.

   

System codes contain:

• Attachment of Earnings Order A legal order that requires an employer to deduct money from an employee's to pay a debt that they owe.

• Admin Fee

• Accrued Holiday Pay

• Average Holiday If an Employee's work has no fixed or regular hours, their holiday pay will be based on the average pay they received over the previous 52 weeks (or a average based on the available number of weeks if less than the full 52. Hours

• Basic Pay The standard amount paid to an employee which excludes additional payments like bonuses, overtime, and allowances.

• Basic Daily Pay

• Basic Hourly Pay

• CIS Construction Industry Scheme - An alternative to PAYE payroll for the construction indusry. Using the Construction Industry Scheme, contractors deduct money from a subcontractor’s payments and pass it to HMRC. The deductions count as advance payments towards the subcontractor’s tax and National Insurance. Deduction
