We have added a Set Rates Automatically indicator to Operator Preferences, allowing you to set Tax/NI bands automatically based on the payroll date.

We have updated the system with the new National Insurance Contribution rates which are effective from 6 November 2022. This follows the Government's decision to reverse the 1.25% Health and Social Care Levy added to National Insurance Contributions for the 2022/2023 tax year. For more information, refer to our Legislation site.
You can change the NI Saving rate to 13.8% for employees or 14.53% for directors, if required.
Fixes

We have fixed an issue found when changing the Holiday Type to Days and the incorrect figure displayed in the 1 Day Represents field.
New updates to NI and the Health and Social Care Levy
What's happened
On 22 September 2022, the government announced upcoming changes to the National Insurance Contribution Rates and the Health and Social Care Levy.
These changes are:

New rates of National Insurance Contributions will be introduced from the 6 November 2022 to reverse the 1.25 percentage point increase.

The Health and Social Care Levy of 1.25% will no longer be going ahead in 2023.
What we're doing
The Payroll System is in the process of being updated to cater for the new National Insurance Contribution rates which are applicable from 6th November 2022. We are working to make these changes in our software and plan to communicate with you as soon as we know more.
