Cease trading

If your company ceases trading, the date you stop trading is used in the EPS/FPS processes to identify the final submission.

The process for a company that has ceased trading depends on whether you must complete an EPS or not.

  • If you are submitting an EPS, you should set the ceased trading date after you have submitted your final FPS.

  • If you do not need to submit a final EPS, set the ceased trading date before sending your final FPS.

  1. Go to Company > Alter Company Details and on the Company tab, enter the Ceased Trading date.

  2. Select OK then select Yes to issue leaving dates to all employees.
