Configuring HR Integration

Before configuring the HR Integration in payroll, you must:

• Create a company in Staffology HR or IRIS HR Professional to link with your company in payroll.

• Configure your Payroll Calendar for the whole tax year, including Work Periods.

• Check that each payment/deduction Name in payroll is unique before sending data to HR.

  Do not attempt to send information to HR before checking these steps.

Enter your Login Details

1. Open the company you wish to sync with Staffology HR or IRIS HR Professional.

2. Select HR Integration from the menu in payroll.

3. Select Configure to open the HR Integration Configuration screen.

4. Enter your HR login credentials in Username and Password.

Select Show Password to confirm the password.

5. Choose OK.

• If you only have one company in HR, the company links automatically.

• If you have more than one HR company, the HR Integration Company Selection screen displays.

6. From the drop-down list, select the HR company you want to link to payroll.

7. Choose the HR Name (ID) from the list.

8. Select OK.

   You can change the Username and Password without unlinking the company.

   Once you have linked a company in payroll to a company in HR, you cannot link that HR company to a different payroll company.

   If Tax Code and Student Loan details are blank in payroll, for instance, if it is a new employee, the fields (if applicable) import into Employee Details.

9. On the HR Integration Configuration screen, select Fields.

   The HR Integration Settings screen displays.

   The HR to Payroll and Payroll to HR columns allow you to customise the direction in which the information transmits.

10. Using each column, select whether to send the information from Payroll to HR or import it from HR into Payroll.

    Some fields select by default but you can update this.
