Setting Up Online Services

Online Services allow you to verify your subcontractors with HMRC over the internet as well as submit your month-end returns.

1. Firstly, you need to make sure you are registered with HMRC for online services. Even though you may be registered for online submissions of PAYE, you will still need to register for CIS.

2. Select ‘Construction Industry Scheme’.

   When you have received your User ID and password, select the ‘File’ menu, go to ‘Online Services,’ and then select ‘Configure’.

   You must complete each of the fields.

   

3. Select ‘OK’ when you are finished.
