Before you pay SSP
SSP cannot calculate correctly unless you complete the Qualifying Days of the week in question. If a qualifying rota applies, you have to calculate one week at a time.
-
Select the payroll company.
-
Go to the Employee menu.
-
Select Alter Current Employee.
-
Select the employee.
-
Select the SSP Tab.
-
Select the days on which the employee is to qualify for SSP.
If the qualification is in the form of a rota, as in shift-working, enter the number of weeks (No. Wks column) for which that pattern is to operate. You can have up to eight weekly patterns.
