March 2025: Product updates

We're pleased to announce the latest update to IRIS Recruitment.

These release notes contain a detailed breakdown of any new features or enhancements that have been developed, as well as any bug fixes that we have implemented. Our development teams release to production every 2 weeks on average, so our monthly updates contain multiple development releases.

Bugs may have been reported via the Support Desk, fed back to us internally, or found during our testing processes. Due to the bespoke nature of our software, there may be certain bugs reported that you haven't experienced in your system.

New Features

System Status Page

  • We’re excited to introduce a new System Status Page for the IRIS Recruitment platform. This page will provide real-time updates on system performance, scheduled maintenance, and any ongoing incidents, ensuring greater transparency and improved communication with our users.

    With this feature, users can quickly check the status of key services, reducing the need to contact support for updates. The System Status Page will be accessible at IRIS Recruitment - Service Status.

    This enhancement is part of our ongoing commitment to improving system reliability and user experience.

Automatic Reference Reminders

  • We are pleased to introduce our new automatic reference reminder feature. The system can now be configured to send up to three automatic reminders to referees with outstanding requests, reducing the need for manual follow-ups outside the system. If you are interested in enabling this feature, please contact the support team.

Release 169 March 2025 – System Bugs - New Design

Issues Description
Candidate Profile UI Bug Resolved an UI issue where profile question options were not displaying correctly in the new design.
Applicant After Offer Issue Fixed a UI issue that occurred when candidates were declined after previously being offered a position.
Vacancy List Insight Issue Resolved a caching issue that prevented configuration updates to the vacancies list dashboard widget from reflecting user changes in the new navigation.
Candidate Summary Filters Missing Addressed an issue where candidate filters in the new design were not displaying correctly in the vacancy section.
Sort Function Not Working Fixed a bug where only the first 20 candidates were being sorted when using the candidate sorting functionality within a vacancy.

Release 169 March 2025 – System Bugs - Both Designs

Issues Description
Indeed Apply - Non-Live Client Issue Added an extra layer of control to ensure that vacancies from non-live clients are correctly sent to Indeed.
Multiposter CV-Library Integration Bug Fixed an issue where the CV-Library integration was not posting vacancies as expected.
Select Authoriser During Authorisation Chain Issue Resolved an issue where authorisations remained visible on all team members’ dashboards when the "Select Authoriser During" functionality was enabled.

Issues Description
Declining Future Interviews Fixed a bug in the new design where users were unable to decline future interviews correctly.

Issues Description
Set as Contacted for a Declined Candidate Enters Loop Resolved an issue where setting a declined candidate as "contacted" caused an infinite loop, preventing proper workflow progression.
Application Tab Not Working in Applicant Profile Fixed an issue where the application tab was not loading correctly when viewing an applicant’s profile.
Advert Editing Not Available When AI Module Is Enabled Without Configuration Resolved an issue preventing advert editing when the AI Module was turned on but not configured properly.
Combined Scoring Overview - Error Fixed an issue where the Combined Scoring Overview displayed an error, preventing users from accessing scoring data.
ATSI (Connect) Integration Error Resolved an issue causing some ATSi publishings to fail due to a mismatch in screening questions.
Structure Optimisation Optimised how the system handles structure to improve performance.
Manual Application Bug Fixed a bug causing the system to freeze when manually adding applicants at the point of declaring how the candidate was made aware.
Unable to Bulk Cancel Interviews Fixed an issue causing unexpected errors when users attempted to cancel interviews in bulk.
Advanced Employment History Incorrect Date Validation Resolved an issue where the system failed to validate a date when the 1st of the month was entered in the Advanced Employment History question.
Vacancy Unintentional Deletion Fixed a bug that caused vacancies to be unintentionally deleted when deleting a vacancy during creation within a modal pop-up.
Advanced Employment History Mandatory Question Error Resolved an issue where the system incorrectly enforced a response to the ‘End Date’ field when users selected that they currently work at the company in the Advanced Employment History question.
SAR Returning No Data Fixed an issue causing no data to be returned when reviewing data for candidates' Subject Access Requests (SARs).
(Optimisation) Improved Template Query Optimisation work carried out on how the system interacts with templates, improving stability and performance.

March Hot Fixes

Issues Description
Employment History Missing Buttons Issue Fixed a bug that caused employment history buttons to disappear when returning to the section, ensuring that the add and remove buttons now persist.
Reference Forms Incorrect Date Picker Removed an outdated legacy date picker that was incorrectly displayed on reference forms.
Vacancy Template List Duplicate Entries Fixed a visual issue that caused template folders to appear duplicated within the vacancy templates list.
Incorrect CandidateClientID When Applying Through Indeed Apply (Applications Not Appearing on Account) Resolved an issue where candidate accounts were being created with an incorrect account type for Indeed Apply candidates.
Password Reset Not Working (Indeed Apply) Fixed an issue that prevented Indeed Apply candidates from resetting their passwords due to their accounts being assigned the wrong account type.
