We're pleased to announce the latest update to IRIS Networx.
These release notes contain a detailed breakdown of any new features or enhancements that have been developed, as well as any bug fixes that we have implemented. Our development teams release to production every 2 weeks on average, so our monthly updates contain multiple development releases.
Bugs may have been reported via the Support Desk, fed back to us internally, or found during our testing processes. Due to the bespoke nature of our software, there may be certain bugs reported that you haven't experienced in your system.

New features
System performance
Ensuring optimal system performance is of paramount importance to us, and our commitment to ongoing optimisation reflects this dedication. Regrettably, we acknowledge that certain clients have encountered periods of performance that fall short of their expectations.
Throughout December, we analysed the system's infrastructure and will be increasing some hardware resources. This strategic enhancement is geared towards fortifying the system's resilience during periods of heightened activity.
In addition to bolstering resources, we have been diligently monitoring the system and gathering information, focusing on areas where processing times are elongated, or usage is particularly intense. The data amassed during this scrutiny forms the basis of our upcoming initiatives. In the month of January, we are poised to channel our efforts into optimizing these critical areas, aiming to deliver an improved and more responsive user experience.
We understand the importance of a seamless system, and we are dedicated to proactively addressing performance concerns. Thank you for your understanding and patience as we work towards elevating our system to meet and exceed your expectations.

Bug fixes
The following bugs have been resolved in the last month and are listed by release date. The reports are split into two sections: system bugs and bugs in the new design.

6th December 2023 – System bugs
| Issue | Description |
| Agency unable to submit applications | Error displayed: This candidate is already known to the company. You cannot submit the candidate. Please contact the company to discuss further. |
| Expiry Date field in Microsite displaying time | On client’s microsite, Expiry Date is displaying the time as well as the date. |
| Booking Interviews for anonymised candidates | Book Interview option should not be displayed when the candidate is in an anonymous state. |
| Publishing set as Cannot Apply, showing as expired on advert. | Vacancy has expired message shows on published vacancies set as Cannot Apply. |
6th December 2023 – New design

| New design: Dark mode display | Areas of the system do not display correctly when the user is in dark mode. |
21st December 2023 – System bugs
| Issues | Description |
| Download all documents doesn't include application form documents | When downloading all documents from an applicant, documents uploaded to the application form are not downloaded. |
| Space between Company Name and entry field | On the first employment question on the application form, Company Name, there is a space between the label and the field. |
| Unable to save Output Header on candidate extract template | Unable to save Output Header on a candidate extract template, when it should remain active. |
| Missing To Authorise tab when changing date range | To Authorise tab disappears when changing date range in Vacancy Authorisation. |
| Unable to download CV from Offer Details | In Offer Details nothing is downloaded when you select Download CV. |
| NHS Jobs settings - job advert fields | When publishing to NHS Jobs the job advert sections don’t match the fields on NHS Jobs. |
| NHS Jobs - increase character limit | Increase the character limit to 1500 characters for the fields in the job advert section. |
| Primary Report title nearly out of view | Report title showing at edge of view when creating a Primary Report. |
| References not included in IRIS Cascade extract | Completed references not being as files on candidate extract. |

| New Design: Unable to change Internal candidate to External | When editing the candidate, candidate is not saved as External when you deselect Internal and save. |
| New design: Incorrect document being attached | When attaching documents to the email, the candidates CV is attached when Interview Feedback Form is selected. |
| New design: Unable to publish Vacancy to integrated job board |
Unable to publish to integrated job board when Vacancy has multiple adverts. |
| New design: Application Type question | Application Type question incorrectly displaying for clients when publishing in new design. |
