Prepare a Gender Pay Gap report
The Government requires all companies with more than 250 employees to publish a gender pay gap report every year.
The intention of this report is to clearly show the pay and bonus differences between the average pay of all men and women within a workforce.
Companies must publish the results on their own website and upload them to a specialist Government website.
Each company is responsible for collating, interpreting and publishing all necessary data.
Companies must publish six specific calculations:
-
Average gender pay gap as a mean average.
-
Average gender pay gap as a median average.
-
Average bonus gender pay gap as a mean average.
-
Average bonus gender pay gap as a median average.
-
Proportion of males receiving a bonus payment, and proportion of females receiving a bonus payment.
-
Proportion of males and females when divided into four groups (quartiles), ordered from lowest pay to highest pay.
