Amend a leave request/absence: holiday, sickness - employee

If you need to make changes to an approved or pending absence When an employee or worker is absent from work. This can be for a variety of reasons. request, follow these steps:

  1. Log into IRIS HR Professional.

  2. On your homepage, select Absence Overview or go to My Details > Absence.

  3. Select the Absence you want to amend.

    A saved Absence in the employee record.

    The Absence screen displays.

  4. Choose Request Changes.

    The Request Changes option on the Absence form.

  5. A pop-up message appears. Select OK to confirm you want to amend the request.

  6. Amend the request as required.

  7. Select Send to submit the amended request.

    A request sends to your line manager/approver for authorisation.
