Configuring payslips

Go to Payroll > Application Data > Company Details > Payslip tab to select the payslip design option you want to use and to configure payslip settings.

Configure your payslip format

  1. In Payroll, select the appropriate payroll company.

  2. Go to Application Data > Company Details.

  3. Select the Payslip tab. The payslip settings screen appears.

  1. At the bottom of the screen, select Update. The payslip settings appeart in editable format.

  2. Complete / amend the details, using this table as a guide. Fields marked with a red asterisk * are mandatory fields, and you must complete them.

Default Payslip Report Template*

From the dropdown menu, select the option you want to use.

Default Payslip Preview Template*

From the dropdown menu, select Basic Payslip or IRIS Cascade Payslip.

Default Self Service Payslip*

From the dropdown menu, select the option you want to use.

Employee Name Format*

From the dropdown menu, select the option you want to use.

Export Payment Method Payslip Description

Type the description you want to use for exports i.e BACS or BANK. This will show how the employee has been paid

Cheque Payment Method Payslip Description

Type the description you want to use for cheque payments. Normally CHEQUE.

Other Payment Method Payslip Description

Type the description you want to use for other payment methods. Normally OTHER.

Display Tax Code Change Message

Tick the box if you want to include tax code change messages on payslips.

Add Logo to Payslip

Tick the box if you want to include your organisation logo from the Logo tab (Application Data > Company Details) in the following places:

  • Default Payslip Report Template

  • Default Self Service Template For logo files:

  • Maximum file size is 2MB

  • Format must be GIF, JPG or PNG

Logo Alignment

If you are including your organisation logo on payslips, select

Left, Right or Centre to specify its position. The default is Left.

  1. At the bottom of the screen, select Save
