Input Data example query 1: Calculate messages
The query shown in the screenshot below returns any kind of warning, error or information message in employees’ records for the current payroll period.
Input Data example query 2: SMP schedules
The CPMS team can provide you with maternity schedules that include dates and period amounts, but you can also build and run the query shown in the screenshot below to generate schedules yourself.
Input Data example query 3: Input values versus calculated values
If you have uploaded or integrated overtime/bonus values into the Payroll system, you can run the query shown in the screenshot below to ensure that the overtime rates, input amounts and calculated amounts are correct.
If you want to select specific criteria using a picker (indicated by this icon ), you must first run the query with no criteria selected, so that the system can recognise the elements to include when you access the picker. For example, to include criteria for Pay Element Description, you first need to build and run the query as shown in the screenshot below.
When the results are displayed, click Edit Query at the bottom of the Query Results screen to go back to the query details, and then add the criteria to the query using the picker icons that are now available for use.
Input Data example query 4: Input Statutory Sick Pay
The query shown in the screenshot below returns employees who have had SSP paid in the current pay period, including the dates when SSP was paid and the amount.
