Make a workflow process active

  1. You can access HR from the top hand menu.

     

  2. Select Process Catalogue.

  3. From Actions select Edit for the workflow you want to activate.

  4. Select Active, then select Save.

  5. You can also add Constraints to the workflow process:

The workflow process can only start once a year for each employee.

For example, you could send a Happy Birthday email to employees on their birthday, and if the process is set to run daily, you would not want each employee to receive a birthday email every time the process runs. A year is calculated as beginning 365 days before the day when the process starts

1 per Year/Record

If the workflow process is linked to a record, it can only run once a year, and cannot start again for another year. A year is calculated as beginning 365 days before the day when the process starts

1 Ever/Employee

Only one workflow process of this type can ever be started for a particular employee

1 Ever/Record

Only one workflow process of this type can ever be started and linked to a particular employee record
