Set up users in Recruitment+
Before you begin, make sure you have access to the Recruitment+ tab. If you don’t, an admin will need to give you access.
Access to Recruitment+ is controlled by roles. Learn more about editing access with roles.
Set up existing IRIS Cascade users

Go to Recruitment +, and select Users from the side menu.

Search for the user, or find them in the list.

Select Update next to the relevant user.

Update the following settings as needed:

User Group: The User Group controls what level of access the user has within Recruitment+. You can select from the following:

Super User (sometimes Administrator): These have the most access within the system (areas and functionality).

Recruitment Team: These have administrator access rights within a vacancy but reduced access to Settings.

Restricted User: Reduced access and functionality.

Contact Only: No login access but can be included in emails.
Your User Groups may be different if you have bespoke User Groups.

R+ Status: Whether a user has access to Recruitment+. This should be set as Enabled to give the user access.

Authoriser: Only relevant if you have the Authorisation module.

If you do have the Authorisation module: Select the Authoriser box if you want to give the user the ability to authorise vacancy requests.

If you don’t have the Authorisation module you can ignore this step. This setting will not have any affect on your system.

Hierarchy (SBands): The user's IRIS Cascade hierarchy will be selected by default. You only need to edit this if the user needs access to users outside of their IRIS Cascade hierarchy in Recruitment+, for example if they will be helping with recruitment in other business areas.
Any changes made to the hierarchy here will change the hierarchy within IRIS Recruitment but will not affect IRIS Cascade.

Once complete, select Save.
You can edit each user individually by repeating the above steps for all users that need access, or you can copy a user’s settings and apply them to other users.
Copy a user's settings

Select Copy next to the user whose settings you want to apply.

Select which settings you want to apply, from:
- User Group
-
R+ Status
-
Authoriser
-
Hierarchy (SBands)
We do not recommend copying Hierarchy (SBands), as hierarchy is specific to individual users.

Select Next.

Select the users you want to apply the settings to, then select Next.
The settings are applied to the selected users.
Once you have set up each user, they will need to individually log in to IRIS Cascade, and Launch Recruitment+ for their user to be available on Recruitment+. Learn more about launching Recruitment+ as a user.
