Post |
This is a lookup directly to the ‘Posts’ section within Admin in the Core HR module. Ensure the vacancy you wish to advertise is held in ‘Posts’ |
Reference |
Type the vacancy reference in the field |
Title |
This is the job title you would like the applicant to see when the vacancy is uploaded onto the website. Post (mentioned above) will not be seen on the website |
Level |
A system list item which also acts as one of your groups related to ‘Questions’. This is the same list used in your Job & Salary screen against the ‘Classification’ field |
Location |
A System List item allowing you to set the location of your vacancy. Within system lists you can also specify the post code of this location. The website can then allow applicant to see distances from their home address to the vacancy location |
Hours Per Week |
Enter here the hours per week of the vacancy |
Salary |
Enter here the salary or salary range of the vacancy |
Benefits |
Enter all available benefits for the vacancy |
Contract Type |
A System List item. This is the same field as used in your Job & Salary screen against the ‘Contact’ field. Specify the contract type of the vacancy |
Hierarchy |
This uses the same hierarchy defined through your IRIS Cascade software and managed in the Administration section of Core HR. Select the area of the business the vacancy will belong |
Recruiting Manager |
This will allow you to pick an employee from your business who is responsible for the vacancy. By naming a recruiting manager the system will also use this name to determine permissions to the module |
Reason |
A System List Item. Allows a reason for the vacancy to be given |
Default First Action |
This will display all your actions of your recruitment process. Whichever action you pick, this is where the applicant will ‘begin’ your recruitment process |
Creation Date |
The date this vacancy was put on the system. This will default to today’s date |
Date Approved |
The date the vacancy was approved by the business to be created |
Application Closing Date |
The date the application will no longer be able to be applied for. By default, this is set to 3 months from the creation date |
Actual Hours Per Week |
The actual hours the successful applicant will be working |
Actual Salary |
The actual salary the successful applicant will be earning |
Pay Basis |
The salary payment terms |
Total Positions |
How many positions are vacant and need to be filled |
Taken Positions |
A system calculated field which will update each time there is a successful applicant for the vacancy |
