Enter a new starter

The New Starter wizard allows you to enter new employees into IRIS Cascade and can be accessed from the left-hand menu by clicking on Actions > Add new starter

The configuration of the wizard can be done in Admin > Wizards . In here multiple different wizards can be created but only one can be made the active wizard at any one time.

Access to the New Starter Wizard is set by a role item in Admin > Accounts and security > Roles.

When the new starter record is saved, any new starter workflows are triggered.

These workflows must have the below trigger event set up.

Data drafting

The new starter wizard can remember the data entered before selecting save. This is known as drafting and keeps the data entered for 24 hours.

This means if you are in the middle of adding a new starter, you can go and do something else and when you return (within 24 hours) all the data you entered is still there.
