Add your calendar to Microsoft Outlook

  1. On the Calendar Feed tab screen, click Email Link beside the My Calendar Link field.

  2. You will see this screen. Make sure the Work Email Address is correct, and then click Send Link.

  3. You will receive an email that contains the link that you’ll need to create the calendar in Outlook. Copy the link.

  1. In Outlook, go to File > Account Settings.

  2. On the Account Settings screen, click the Internet Calendars tab. You will see this screen:

  4. Paste the link that you received by email from IRIS Cascade into the box, and then click Add. You will see this screen:

  5. If required, in the Folder Name field, change the calendar name to a name that is meaningful to you.
  1. Click OK to add the new calendar to your Microsoft Outlook account. Your IRIS Cascade calendar items will start to synchronise with Outlook a short while afterwards.

  2. To see the new calendar in Outlook, click the calendar icon . The new calendar is listed under Other Calendars. By default, Outlook usually shows the existing Outlook calendar, but if you select the new calendar, you will see the two calendars side by side.

  3. Outlook includes a function that enables you to overlay calendars, to make appointments and entries easier to view: in the first calendar, right-click the calendar name (the section shaded in pale blue just below the date in the screenshot above) and select Overlay.

    You will see the overlaid calendars as shown in this screenshot:

    When IRIS Cascade and Outlook have started to synchronise, you will see appointments in your calendar.

  4. If you are a manager with direct reports, you also need to follow the above steps to see your direct reports’ calendars (clicking Email Link beside the My Team’s Calendar Link field).
