Purge Data
The purge functionality allows you to test examples in your live system and cleanse the tests before your staging date. There is an inbuilt fail safe which prevents purging after your staging date.
Testing
In order to test Auto Enrolment processes and procedures before your staging date:

Update your staging date to be a date in the past. The staging date is set within Admin > Auto Enrolment > Auto Enrolment Profiles

Perform your tests

Reset your staging date to the correct date/future date

Then use the Purge Data tool. The function is found in Admin > Auto Enrolment > Purge Data
What is purged?
All employee earnings records, timeline and assessment history.
The worker type and status are reset.
What is not purged?
Pension Schemes system list, PRP calendars and Auto Enrolment Profiles are not purged.
Against an employee, the ‘Exclude employee from Auto Enrolment’ and ’Member of qualifying pension scheme’ information is not purged.
The system will give two warnings during the purge process, to re-emphasise that the process is irreversible.
Purging After Staging
If you attempt to purge data after your staging date, the message below will appear and the purge will not complete.
