Right to Join

Employees who have been assessed and have the right to join a pension scheme, but who have not yet requested to join through IRIS Cascade.

From this status, you can click Join for any employee who requests to join a scheme. To change an employee’s status to Requested to Join, click OK when you see the confirmation message.

IRIS Cascade automatically selects this option for employees who request to join through self-service

Requested to Join

Employees who have requested to join a pension scheme from their Auto Enrolment screen, or who have been moved from Right to Join when you receive the correct written joining notice (i.e. system-generated email).

From this status, click Enrol to enrol employees straight into a pension scheme. To complete the enrolment, and then move employees to Joined and change their status on their Auto Enrolment screen to Member of a Qualifying Pension Scheme:

• If your organisation uses IRIS Cascade Payroll, use Integration

• If your organisation does not use IRIS Cascade Payroll, click Complete, select the appropriate scheme, and then add the enrolment date

   

Use group actions to send any relevant AE communications and add them to employees’ timeline

Joined

Employees who have joined a pension scheme.

Ended Membership

Employees who have left a pension scheme.
