View existing posts

  1. Go to Admin> People, Post and Skills section and then Posts.

  2. To view information about an existing post, select its name. You see the information on a series of tabs.

Post Details tab

Shows details about the post, including the contract type, manager, and normal working hours.

Subordinates tab

Lists all posts that report into the currently selected post, based on the Manager field on the Post Details tab.

Occupants tab

Lists any employee(s) currently in the selected post, based on their current Job & Salary screen.

Competencies tab

Lists competencies linked to the selected post, and you can add competencies to the list by clicking Add at the bottom of the screen. You can then find competencies using skills matching searches and get more accurate results by applying weighting to each competency. Competencies are also used in other system areas, including the Training module and the Recruitment module.

Training tab

Lists courses linked to the post. You can add courses to the list (from the IRIS Cascade Training module only) by clicking Add Courses at the bottom of the screen. The information on this tab can be used to populate employees’ Training and Development screen.

Hay Score tab

This tab will only appear if you Enable Hay Scoring from Admin > General Settings section > System Properties > General.

Hay Reference Level and Grade are populated in System Lists.
