Assign occupational sick pay schemes to employees
When you have created your organisation’s occupational sick pay schemes, you can assign them to employees to calculate entitlement to payment when they are absent because of sickness. You can check the occupational pay scheme assigned to individual employees on their Work screen in HR, and you can change their pay scheme on this screen if necessary.
If you want the same occupational sick pay scheme to apply to all your organisation’s employees (or a group of employees), you can use the Global Reassign option in Admin and select one of the following group types:
- Current Group, to assign a pay scheme to individual users selected manually.
- Static Group, to assign a pay scheme to a group created using Query Builder .
Assigning scheme to employees
- Select and/or create the group of employees that you want to assign the pay scheme to.

Click the Launch icon, then select Admin.
- From the Pay section, select Occupational Pay Schemes
- In the list, select the pay scheme you want to assign to the employees and click Global Reassign.
- Check the details on the from are correct and click Preview. You will see the preview list of changes to be applied to the group selected.
- Tick the box on the left in the header row to select all employees in the list, or individually select them on their own individual row.
- Select Update Sick Pay Schemes.
- Once the system has processed the request click OK.
