Allow Overlap

All attendance categories have the option to enable Allow Overlap in Category Properties.

When Allow Overlap is enabled, you can add an absence from your chosen category on a date where an absence from another category already exists.

This means you can add absences from multiple categories on the same date.

Why is this useful?

An example of this would be if you wanted to allocate a Holiday on the same date as an Appointment.

With Allow Overlap enabled, you would be able to allocate the Holiday without creating a clash, or having to delete the Appointment.
