Release notes - September 2026

HR

Enhancements

  • Fields on employee screens: We have increased the size of fields that show large amounts of data. An example is the Hierarchy field on the Job and Salary. It now shows the whole path.

  • Text changes: The following places have had the text changed.

    • Recruitment+ has been renamed to IRIS Recruitment

    • Close and Carry screen title has been changed to match the menu item and the text explaining non-profile years now says employees with no entitlement profile.

    • The word e-mail has been changed to email in several places in Admin.

    • Admin > Posts, the filtering text has been changed to say it also includes the Post ID.

  • Email authentication: Any customer that has moved away from our standard method of SendGrid will now have the ability to enter their OAuth details. Information can be found on this help centre page. This only effects a small number of customers and you will be sent an email in the next few days if this impacts you.

  • Email service: As a result of the email changes allowing OAuth, we have moved all the email settings from Admin > System properties into their own area called Email service.

    • The two settings that control when workflow emails are sent have been moved into the Workflow section of System properties.

  • MyCascade: The eye icon on the Pay screen, seen when the data is redacted, was not being shown at its correct size and has now been adjusted.

Fixes

  • Vehicles: A security fix has been applied to stop cross site scripting.

  • Spine point increment: The Preview Point Increment pop up screen was not being displayed in the correct design.

  • Attendance import: The import of holiday records were being success but were then not showing in the system. This has now been fixed.

  • Webhooks: Webhooks intermittently failed to fire after data changes with no visible error displayed. The background trigger for webhooks has now been made more reliable and will consistently fire all webhooks as designed.

  • State Pension Age - The government changed the way in how the increase in State Pension age is phased, rather than reaching State Pension age on a specific date, people born between 6 April 1960 and 5 March 1961 will reach their State Pension age at 66 years and the specified number of months. Admin > State Pension Age Legislation has been updated to reflect the State Pension age being 66 and a number of months depending on Date of Birth. This will ensure employees who reach state pension age are processed correctly in Auto Enrolment.
