Security refresh system property

Cascade uses a security cache that allows a user to see employees. The security cache needs to be updated to see Employees recently added to Cascade. It updates when you login to show Employees that work for you but other relationships are generated overnight.

When a new Employee is added to Cascade via the IRIS HR API they are not visible by default until the overnight task has run. We cannot update the security relationships for all users as this could take a couple of hours and impact system performance.

To help you can choose a role (or create a role from scratch) to be automatically refreshed when a new Employee as added via the IRIS HR API. The role contains a list of Users.

To setup this feature, you need to select the role in Cascade System Properties.

You can only choose a single role from the drop down list. You can construct a new role with users just to be used by this feature.

If the System Property is not visible then your system needs to marked as using the IRIS HR API. Contact support for assistance.

Due to system performance only the first 20 users in the role will be refreshed. All others will be refreshed overnight as normal.
